Philosophy & History Of Swartz & Lenamon

From their offices in Miami, Florida, overlooking the Biscayne Bay, the lawyers of Swartz & Lenamon represent individuals statewide and nationally who are facing charges in state and federal courts for serious criminal law offenses.

Fighting Against the Loss of Liberty and Civil Rights
It is the overriding goal of attorneys Ken Swartz and Terence Lenamon to prevent the loss of liberty and civil rights for each of their criminal defense clients. Each of them has dedicated his life’s work to this mission.

Their firm, Swartz & Lenamon, represents individuals who have been accused or charged with violent crimes or white collar offenses that involve the risk of serious imprisonment or jail time, fines, and sometimes, the death penalty.

These white collar offenses can include bank fraud, mortgage fraud, business and economic crimes, Medicare and health fraud crimes, sex crime offenses, internet crimes and drug related offenses. They may be based upon Florida law or Federal law.

Ken Swartz has successfully obtained acquittals of individuals accused of serious white collar offenses in a great majority of his cases, having handled over 1000 federal criminal defense cases with over 125 jury trials in the course of his career.

Fighting Against the Death Penalty
Swartz & Lenamon is also highly recognized in representing those who have been charged with violent crimes and first degree murder, including persons facing death penalty. Swartz & Lenamon does not believe in the right of the government to take the life of one of its citizens and stands against the imposition of the death penalty.

Terry Lenamon is a nationally known attorney in matters where the client may face a death penalty. Among the thousands of cases that he has handled are more than 20 first-degree murder cases and 8 capital cases to verdict. To date, he has successfully persuaded prosecutors not to seek the death penalty in over 30 cases.
